Yo peeps,
Sup? Been a long time since I actually posted anything.
For starters, I am just an average working adult, works in IT fields.
I bought this tiny apartment really close to the Central of the City, with 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms, loved the location, and loved the size. Not too big, not too small it's just perfect (because it's a pain to clean a big apartment/condo), and not to mention the maintenance fees charged by how big the the unit are.
Did I mentioned 2 bathrooms? I really think having 2 bathrooms are super important cause imagine couple staying in an apartment, when both wanted to use the toilet at the same time, and there's 2 toilets satisfying both parties :D.
And location wise, its superb, it's close to drive to city central or to downtown, plus, its close to my workplace. Used to stuck in jam for an hour or even more every morning and now? it takes less than 20 mins to get to work :)
But, buying a house in current time is no easy feat, the Mortgage Payment, the Maintenance fees, the Utility bills, and the Tax, gosh, it's practically just payments after payments.
So, be very careful, Buying a house can be a blessing or a curse. Before you buy a house, on top of having 10% of down-payment for your house, it's best if you have saved up Emergency Fund.
By Emergency fund, I mean you must saved at least 3 months of your monthly expenses in savings. Doesn't matter whether is just sitting in Savings account or segregate into different FDs with different maturity dates (That way, when you need money, you can withdraw from one of the FD and the rest of other FDs still continued on).
Before saving at least 3 months (6 months is even better), please do not impulsed into buying a house, there are tons of Property development now, be it new or old, and the pricing are already sky high, I am no pro, but at least for now, the price is hard to get any higher.
There you have it, the one thing before getting a new property.
Till next time, ciao!
